Janitor

p The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center (AMC) is looking for a Janitor that will be responsible for maintaining the overall general housekeeping of the hospital. /p h2 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: /h2 ul li Sanitize clinic spaces, restrooms, and replace bathroom supplies /li li Dust, mop, and wipe daily staircases and hallways /li li Trash and medical waste disposal /li li Move furniture (i.e. tables, chairs, file cabinets) up to 50lbs /li li Provide support for inclement weather duties, including providing umbrella bags, setting up slip protection mats, and shoveling / salting the perimeter of building /li li Set up for events /li /ul h2 Qualifications: /h2 ul li High School/GED /li li Janitorial Service Certificate of Education is a plus /li li Ability to read and understand signs and labels written in English /li li Some similar experience preferred /li li Ability to be flexible and able to perform more than one task at a time /li li Ability to work with minimal supervision /li li Must be able to operate tools and equipment used in janitorial work /li li Must have knowledge of proper use and care of mechanical cleaning equipment /li li Knowledge of OSHA and Safety requirements /li /ul h2 Our comprehensive benefits package includes: /h2 ul li Competitive salary /li li Generous sign-on bonus /li li Generous paid time off /li li Tuition assistance /li li 50% discount on veterinary care /li li Continuing education funds with rollover options /li li 403b matc…
