Aid in the admission and discharge of patients by communicating with clients through client education, both written and verbal, on all topics related to pet care, including but not limited to proper wound care, wellness protocols, illness, medication dosages and use, and expectations following surgery. Effectively administer proper patient triage protocols based on client and facilities needs and capabilities. During exams, educate clients on wellness, preventative care, diagnostic approaches, treatment options, medications, and surgeries. Demonstrate proficiency in performing all common diagnostic procedures such as radiographs, ultrasound, clinical pathology, and physical exam. Prepare and present treatment options and estimated costs to clients and ensure proper invoicing of delivered services and products once completed. Work with the Practice Manager and facility team to resolve customer complaints and arrive at appropriate resolutions in a timely and effective manner.
